Penghargaan Primetime Emmy ke-72 berlangsung  Senin (21/9/2020) pagi waktu Indonesia. Perayaan tersebut diadakan secara virtual karena adanya pandemi virus corona. Penghargaan akan diberikan dari Staples Center di Los Angeles, tetapi tidak ada karpet merah, tidak ada penonton dan peserta hanya ada sang pembawa acara, Jimmy Kimmel, yang memandu acara ini.

Meski dilaksanakan secara virtual, tidak membuat beberapa artis cuek seperti dilihat di akun Instagram Jennifer Aniston yang tahun ini meraih nominasi di kategori Aktris Terbaik lewat The Morning Show, dengan duduk bersila Jennifer memegang segelas minuman dan memakai piyama dengan masker di wajahnya. Bukan masker penutup hidung-mulut untuk mencegah penularan Corona tentu saja. Melainkan masker untuk kecantikan.

Berbeda dengan Zendaya, bintang "Spider-Man: Far From Home" ini  tampil all out memukau dalam balutan gaun ungu dan hitam karya Christopher John Rogers. 

Gaun tersebut dia sandingkan dengan perhiasan Bulgari dan sepatu dari Christian Louboutin. Dengan rambut ditata rapi ke belakang dan dress berpotongan dada rendah serta rok balon, Zendaya tampak berputar-putar di ruang tamunya sambil memamerkan gaunnya. 

Aktris berusia 23 tahun itu mengaku selalu ingin menampilkan gaya yang sempurna meskipun dari rumah, serta berusaha terus berpakaian sesuai tema.
